On January 20th, the International Conference on Global Trends of Education Innovation, co-hosted by China National Academy of Educational Sciences (CNAES) and People's Daily Online, was held in Beijing. The theme of the symposium was "Global Trends of TVET Innovation". During the conference, Li Yongzhi, President of CNAES, met with Arnout Jacobs, President of Springer Nature Greater China, and his delegation.
During the meeting, representatives from Institute of Education Statistics and Data Analysis, Educational Research Journal, and Education Science Publishing House introduced CNAES's research priorities in related fields and the cooperation with Springer Nature in recent years to Mr. Jacobs and his delegation. They also expressed their hope to further deepen exchanges and cooperation with Springer Nature in areas such as digital education index research, enhancing journal influence, academic writing, and the internationalization of publishing. Mr. Jacobs and his delegation introduced the history and current status of Springer Nature's cooperation with Chinese universities, and discussed the future development direction of the publishing industry, focusing on the digital transformation of publishing and the application of artificial intelligence in publishing.
Both sides reviewed the achievements made in publishing cooperation in recent years and expressed their hope to maintain contact and communication in the future, further expand cooperation areas, explore new cooperation methods, and carry out pragmatic, efficient, and influential cooperation. Yu Fayou , Vice Presidents of CNAES and Li Xiaoqiang, Vice Presidents of CNAES, as well as relevant personnel from the Office of General Affairs and the Department of International Exchanges of CNAES, attended the meeting.
