To further enhance the organization of National Natural Science Foundation (NSFC) project applications, fully leverage exemplary role models, and continuously improve the quality and service level of educational research, China National Academy of Educational Sciences (CNAES) held the 2025 "Academic Monsoon Exchange" series event "Seminar on Experience Sharing for NSFC Project Applications" on the morning of February 26.
The seminar consisted of 3 segments: experience sharing, guideline interpretation, and interactive Q&A. Wang Xiaoning, Associate Research Fellow and Deputy Director Department of Research Management, along with Weng Qiuyi, Associate Research Fellow, and Lan Wenting, Assistant Research Fellow, Institute of Higher Education, shared their application experiences in detail. They provided insights into topic selection, problem formulation, project execution, and finalization, offering valuable advice on project direction, proposal writing, and format adjustments. Department of Research Management further provided an in-depth interpretation of relevant policies in the application guidelines, detailing the application procedures, submission requirements, and key points for formal review.
During the interactive Q&A session, participants actively engaged in discussions, demonstrating a strong academic atmosphere of mutual learning and exchange. The 3 speakers were awarded "Outstanding Presenter" certificates.
The seminar was jointly organized by Department of Research Management and the Youth League Committee of CNAES, with nearly 50 researchers, postdoctoral fellows, and visiting scholars in attendance.
