November 11, 2021. The 3rd Belt and Road Education Dialogue: Research, Cooperation and Innovation
On November 11, 2021, CNAES held the 3rd B&R Education Dialogue: Research, Cooperation and Innovation in Beijing. Tian Xuejun, member of the Party Leadership Group and vice minister of the MoE, delivered a speech by video.
Fourteen experts and scholars from China, Russia, Cuba, New Zealand, Germany, Mongolia, Qatar, Egypt, the International Association for Educational Assessment, and other countries and international organizations delivered special reports on the construction of the B&R education research network. Their presentations focused on the progress and direction of educational policy research, methods and paths for international educational cooperation, and innovative cases of educational practices in various countries. Representatives from 44 research institutions, universities, government departments and schools from nearly 30 countries along the B&R participated in the online conference. At the meeting, the 2021 joint research report of the B&R education research network was also released. The education status, opportunities and prospects of B&R countries during the Pandemic - a joint research report of 44 countries along the B&R. This report aimed to understand the educational challenges faced by these countries during the COVID-19 pandemic, share and discuss countermeasures, analyze future education trends, and provide a basis for educational cooperation within B&R education research network during the pandemic.
